on Friday, March 13th, the 150th anniversary of the very first meeting of the Lancaster County Beekeepers Society in 1876.
Doors will open for arrival at 6:00pm and we’ll eat at 6:30pm.
Our speakers for the evening are slated as:
- Frank Ruthkosky — President, Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association
- Jim Pinkerton — Past President and long-time leader of the Lancaster County Beekeepers Society
- Dr. Karen Roccasecca — State Apiarist of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture
- Chris Davis — Acting Deputy Secretary for Plant Industry & Executive Director of the Commission for Agriculture Education Excellence Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture
The event is for members and the cost is only $40 per person. This member price is substantially lower than the true cost because of the generosity of our Gold Sponsors, Fontana Candle Company and Fillmore Container. Because of the much more formal nature of this special event, payment is required online at the time of your RSVP. We must provide a final count to the venue one week prior to the banquet, so cancellations until but not including March 6th can be refunded minus the processing fees, but after that, the reservations are final.
